Plot

As a child, Evan Howard is kidnapped and rescued by Hazel Holmes, who gives him a jade pendant and a childhood promise. Sent abroad for treatment, he loses all contact with her. Years later, Evan runs his family’s restaurant while searching for her. Hazel, sent by her grandfather to train, becomes his new head chef. Unexpectedly, she's the one he's been looking for.
